Q : How to benefit from possible updates of the driver?

A : - 1 - When you open your driver and connect yourself on the Internet, your mouse will automatically go and verify if a new driver is available and will then propose you its loading.

A : - 2 – By going on the Nova website, tab « TECHNICAL SUPPORT », under menu « DRIVER »by verifying the date of the last update or the version number and if necessary by loading the new driver.

Q : What do I do in case of BUG

A : The countless number of possible configuration combinations does not make the SLIDERX600 free of bugs despite numerous test and controls done before its launching. By specifying as precisely as possible your configuration or the circumstances in which the bug appears. The Nova teams will solve it within a few hours and will put a new driver at your disposal.

Q : Is the SLIDERX600 compatible with a MAC

A : The SliderX600 mouse does not have a specific driver for MAC and cannot be set directly from a Mac but it can still be used with its default settings.

Q : Can the SliderX600 be plugged into a PS2 with the help of a converter (PS2/USB)

A : No the specific driver of the mouse is compatible with a USB port on your computer and would not work properly if connected to a PS2 port.

Q : How do I contact Nova for a technical or a warranty problem on my SLIDERX600

Q : Can I disassemble my mouse to make changes?

A : There are no possible changes on the mouse and the opening or the removal of any item would result in the loss of the manufacturer’s warranty. Please read the user’s guide carefully for any information on settings and use conditions of your mouse. The user’s guide can be downloaded:  HERE

Q : How do I check the use of my mouse buttons?

A : Open the driver NOVAX600 and select the « SETTINGS» tab, click on the buttons you wish to control or modify on the different views of the mouse. You will then have the opportunity to select other functions or verify one that is associated with the selected button.

Q : What are the profiles of the mouse for?

A : The mouse can save 3 different user profiles, each containing each 3 sensitivity settings (DPI) as well as the choice of affectation of the 6 adjustable buttons. This gives you the opportunity to save these values for different uses of your mouse (various users or specific applications). By default, 3 identical profiles are preset in your mouse and distinguishable by the displayed color. Each profile can be selected by pressing the button nr 5 (in the middle, on the top of the mouse) and a different color is preset for each of these profiles.

Q : What is the USB Polling rate adjustable from 125Hz to 1000 Hz?

A : This value corresponds to the information exchange frequency between the mouse and the computer to renew the data issued to the USB port. At 125 Hz, the upgrade is done every 8 ms and at 1000Hz (1 KHz) the data are updated every ms.

Q : I cannot find the setting program of the SliderX600mouse in the control panel when I open the dashboard Mouse of Windows?

A : The acces program to the settings of the mouse is installed on the driver C/NOVA GAMING/ when you use the mouse for the first time and is also accessible in the “Program” tab of the START menu.

Q : One of the functions of my mouse is not working

A : First try to check in your user’s guide the recommendations for the use of your mouse. Then check carefully among the “FAQs to see if your problem is listed or not. Q : Maintenance of your mouse

A : Externally a simple cleaning with a damp cloth is sufficient (not with water as it is not water proof).The ceramic feet do not need any cleaning but should this be necessary please also use a damp cloth.

Q : My mouse does not keep the wheel speed in memory once the driver is closed.

A : Please go on the driver tab« Advanced settings », accept the conditions and install the mouse fixer that will allow you to uninstall the Windows drivers in order to avoid any conflict.
